Tom Buoy

Interim Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, Americas

Tom Buoy is the Interim Chief Executive Officer for Radisson Hotel Group Americas. Buoy is responsible for the corporate offices and more than 680 hotels in the company’s portfolio throughout the Americas. Additionally, Buoy serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, he brings a visionary and thoughtful approach to shaping commercial strategies, along with building and executing plans to support the success of the company. Buoy is also part of Radisson Hotel Group Americas’ Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group Americas, Buoy served as President and Chief Executive Officer of his own commercial consulting and advisory business. During his career, he led the commercial transformation at Extended Stay America, leveraging an agile and data-driven approach to overhaul the company’s revenue management, marketing, and sales processes. He also served as Senior Vice President, Customer Marketing and Revenue Management for Morgans Hotel Group (previously Ian Schrager Hotels), a thought leader in EY’s Hospitality Consulting practice and worked in Operations and Revenue Management with Accor in Australia.

Buoy holds a Master of Professional Studies from The Cornell Hotel School, SC Johnson College of Business. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business. He is also a member of Phi Kappa Phi, a national multidisciplinary honor society.   

Michael Fischer

Chief Human Resources Officer, Americas

Michael Fischer serves as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, he leads all aspects of Human Resources to grow Radisson Hotel Group Americas’ inclusive culture, talent development, employee engagement, and sustainability efforts. Fischer is also part of Radisson Hotel Group Americas’ Executive Committee. 

Prior to joining Radisson Hotel Group Americas, Fischer served as Chief Human Resources Officer for White Lodging, one of the leading hotel ownership, development, and management companies in America. In this role, he was responsible for all areas of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, culture development and engagement, total rewards, training and development, talent management, and succession planning. Fischer also served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources for Loews Hotels, and in roles of increasing responsibility at the property level and above in Human Resources for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Phil Hugh

Chief Development Officer, Americas

Phil Hugh serves as Chief Development Officer of Radisson Hotel Group Americas. Hugh leads, builds, and delivers the development and growth strategies across the core brands in the Americas, including Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson RED, Radisson Individuals, Radisson, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. He also manages strategic investments for the portfolio and spearheads merger and acquisition activity related to portfolio growth. Hugh reports to Jim Alderman, Chief Executive Officer, Americas.

Hugh has 20 years of experience leading and motivating Franchise Sales & Development teams. Most recently, he spent seven years as a development leader at Red Roof Franchising, where he created a franchise division. His team built strong relationships that resulted in transforming the company to an asset-light and franchisee-focused organization. Prior to that, he held a variety of development leadership positions at Realogy Franchise Group, Development Opportunity Corporation, and Cendant Corporation.

Todd Schnobrich

Chief Information Officer, Americas

Todd Schnobrich serves as the Chief Information Officer for Radisson Americas. In this role, he develops and executes the Americas Information Technology (IT) strategy, working closely with other business leaders to build a roadmap for IT in alignment with the company’s business strategy.

Schnobrich previously served as Vice President, Business Relationship Management for Radisson Hotel Group Americas, where he worked with business leaders to establish priorities and budgets for IT investments.

Schnobrich previously held a variety of IT leadership roles at Cargill, where he led international teams in the US, Canada, and the UK in diverse business sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, and consumer packaged goods. He brings to Radisson experience in IT strategy, application management, business partnering, and driving value from enterprise technology platforms.

He also serves on the board of directors of the nonprofit BestPrep, an organization dedicated to inspiring, educating, and connecting Minnesota students.

Amber Thiel

Chief Financial Officer, Americas

Amber Thiel serves as the Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for leading the Accounting, Finance and Strategic Planning teams in the Americas. Her teams support the accounting functions, investments, budgeting and forecasting processes, forward-looking analytics, and reporting. Additionally, the company’s Managed Hotels Finance team and the Americas Development Investments team report to her.

Thiel has been with Radisson Hotel Group for 13 years and has held a variety of roles within the company. Most recently, she served as the Vice President of Finance and Strategy. In this role, she led the global strategic planning and financial reporting team. Thiel successfully led the strategic planning process for Destination 2022, Radisson Hotel Group Americas’ holistic five-year plan. She was also instrumental in the configuration and implementation of Workday. In this role, she was accountable for the system design, data conversion, controls and process compliance and employee training.

Thiel attended the University of North Dakota where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

Tanya Taylor

Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Americas

Tanya Taylor serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Radisson Hotel Group Americas. In this role, Taylor is part of Radisson Hotel Group’s Americas Executive Committee. She also oversees the corporate legal team while assuming responsibility for all company legal matters in the Americas.

Taylor most recently served as General Counsel, Head of Legal & Business Affairs for a telecommunications and mobile startup, Yonder Media Mobile Inc. She’s also held various legal roles in hospitality, including Vice President, Regional General Counsel, North America at Millennium Hotels & Resorts, along with Vice President, Regional General Counsel, US, Latin America & Caribbean for nine years at Wyndham Hotel Group. In addition to her extensive hotel experience, Taylor also has broad experience in commercial contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, litigation management, employment law, labor relations, intellectual property, and general business and operations experience.
