Pet policy

We insist that dogs are invited to the party at the Radisson RED. Check out our pet policy and pack their suitcases because your four-legged friends are our VIPs.

  • Qualifying pets stay free.
  • Only domestic pets (dogs/cats) are allowed.
  • No more than two (2) domestic pets are allowed per room.
  • Guests must sign a pet policy agreement.
  • If a dog weighs more than 40 pounds, guests should contact the hotel directly to discuss a waiver.
  • The pet program at RED includes a bandana, a bed, and a water and food dish.

From the industrial ruins of the Mill District to buzzed-about premieres at the Guthrie Theater, the Radisson RED puts you near many Minneapolis must-sees. Get a feel for the city’s unique love affair with art at the Walker Art Center, or dive into its musical roots at First Avenue, which has hosted everyone from Prince to Lizzo. If it’s warm, rent a bike from the Nice Ride bike-share dock around the corner from the hotel. We love pedaling across the iconic Stone Arch Bridge for awesome views of the Mississippi River and lunch at a riverfront café in St. Anthony Main. When it’s chilly, you can navigate the city by Skyway without even buttoning your coat.

How to get to Radisson RED Minneapolis Downtown

Located in buzzing Downtown East, the Radisson RED is within walking distance of a light rail station, loads of cafés, and popular attractions like U.S. Bank Stadium, which is about a block away. We’re also near corporate offices for Wells Fargo, Rally Health, Thrivent, and Ameriprise Financial if you’re doing business in the city.

Limited on-site parking is available on a first come, first serve basis and includes in/out privileges. On-site parking is USD 32 per space per night with covered garage and surface lot options. An electric charging station is available for a fee. Several nearby parking ramps provide overflow space.

From Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP)

By light rail:

From Terminal 1-Lindbergh station, take the Blue line northbound toward Target Field and get off at U.S. Bank Stadium station.

By car:

Take I-494 W/MN-5 W to I-35W N and then exit onto S 3rd St in Minneapolis. The drive takes about 20 minutes.
