NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

Eligibility:

The Radisson RED Portland Downtown is One Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Radisson Hospitality, Inc. of 701 Carlson Pkwy, Suite 300, Minnetonka, MN, 55305, United States (the “Sponsor”). This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. A purchase or membership in the Radisson Rewards loyalty program will not increase chances of winning.

Sweepstakes participants must be at 18 years of age at the time the Sweepstakes begins, be residents of the United States or Canada, and have a valid Instagram account. The Sweepstakes is void outside the United States and Canada, void in the Province of Quebec, and void where prohibited or restricted by law.

All employees, officers, directors and agents and their immediate families or any members of their households, regardless of relationship, of Sponsor or any advertising agency or other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or to win any prizes.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final on all matters. Any Sweepstakes entries received from an ineligible participant will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the rules of the Sweepstakes in any way at any time, subject to state or federal law.

Sweepstakes Period: 

The Sweepstakes begins on November 18, 2019 at 9:00am CST and ends on November 20, 2019 at 11:00pm CST All entries must be received and recorded by Sponsor during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.  

How To Enter:

TTo enter the Sweepstakes, follow Radisson RED’s Official Instagram account @RadissonRED and @RadissonREDPortland. Sponsor will post a photo on the @RadissonRED account on November 18, 2019 referring to this Sweepstakes with the hashtag #PortlandREDisOne (the “Sweepstakes Post”). Participants must submit a comment on the Sweepstakes Post and tag two friends, family, or acquaintances by the end of the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible. Participant’s comment must be responsive to the question posed in the @RadissonRED Instagram post during the Sweepstakes Period. Comments that include profanity, are non-responsive, are threatening, harassing, or abusive in any way, or violate the rights of any third-party, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, will be deemed ineligible and participant shall be disqualified. Only one entry per person is allowed.

Prizes and Selection of Winners:

Sweepstakes participants will enter for a chance to win one of five prizes of 50,000 Radisson Rewards points, which can contribute to an Award Night redemption at the Radisson RED Portland Downtown  or other options including airline miles or retail gift cards.  The approximate retail value (ARV) of each prize is $150 USD, based on the average daily rate at this property and the total prize ARV is $750 USD.  Please visit https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/rewards/redeem for details. The chances of winning depend on the number of entries received.  No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of any prize is permitted, except by Sponsor due to prize availability and then with a prize of equal or greater value.

The potential winners will be selected in a random drawing on November 21, 2019.  Sponsor will notify the potential winner individually by replying to the potential winner’s entry comment on the Sweepstakes Post from the @RadissonRED account. The potential winner must respond from the email account connected to the potential winner’s Instagram account, confirming his or her identity and acceptance of these Rules, and completing requested information, including but not limited to his or her age and country of residence, via email to marketing@radissonhotels.com within 48 hours of the notification of win. Winning a prize in this Sweepstakes is subject to the potential winner’s identification as holder of the Instagram account and his/her explicit acceptance of these Official Rules. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a potential winner, the potential winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the e-mail account governing the Instagram account was opened.

The potential winner must satisfactorily complete an affidavit of eligibility showing compliance with these Sweepstakes Rules and must also sign a liability and publicity release, allowing Sponsor to use his or her information for advertising or other purposes.  Failure to complete these forms may result in forfeiture of the prize.  If the potential winner does not respond or is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries

If a potential winner is a Canadian resident, he or she must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by Sponsor without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid in order to receive the prize.

Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state or provincial, and local taxes and any expenses associated with any prizes.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, terminate, or suspend this Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or impair the administration, security or fairness of the Sweepstakes.  Sponsor is not responsible for any human or technological error that may occur in the processing of the Sweepstakes nor are they responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, communications line failure, theft or destruction of, unauthorized access to, delay in operation, transmission, or distribution of, or alteration of entries, whether caused by the sender, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes, or otherwise.

Limitation of Liability and Dispute Resolution:

Except where prohibited, each participant and winner accepting a prize agrees that: (a) all issues and questions concerning these rules shall be governed by Minnesota law without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction; (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Contest or any prize awarded shall be (i) resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (ii) filed only in the courts situated in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and participant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such disputes, claims or causes of action; (c) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event shall include attorneys' fees; and (d) under no circumstances will any participant or winner be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

Any personal information collected and processed for the purpose of the Sweepstakes will be processed in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy at https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/privacy.
