Radisson Adds Another Midwest Location, Opens in the Motor City

Radisson, one of the best-recognized hotel brands, today announced the opening of Radisson Hotel Detroit Metro Airport. The hotel has a new sleek and modern look as its been completely renovated. Guests can enjoy the vibrant rooms and lobby, along with an updated pool, restaurant and fitness center. Located just minutes from the airport at 31500 Wick Road in Romulus, traveling is made easy with the hotels complimentary shuttle service and parking.

The hotel is conveniently located near many attractions in the Detroit area. Visitors can learn about the history of the Motor City at the Ford Museum, take a trip back in time to enjoy a music movement that transformed America at the Motown Museum, or catch a game at Ford Field. For business travelers, the Ford and General Motors World Headquarters, Eastern Michigan University, along with Detroit Diesel are all in close proximity to the hotel.

Amenities: The hotel offers high-speed Internet access, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center, room service, as well as a business center. A free shuttle service is available to guests traveling to the Detroit Metro Airport, along with complimentary parking.

Accommodations: The hotel has 272 guest rooms and suites. All guest rooms add comfort and convenience with free high-speed Internet. Guests can also reserve a spacious suite with additional accommodations such as a pullout sleeper sofa and a private bedroom.

Dining: mETRO pOLIS is the casual onsite restaurant and lounge that offers a unique twist on classic dishes through its chef-inspired American cuisine. The restaurant has a full bar offering an array of beverages and cocktails. Room service is also available.

Meetings & Events: The hotel offers nearly 15,000 square feet of meeting space. There are eight rooms to choose from for corporate meetings or wedding receptions. Audio visual equipment is available, along with full-service catering. The Great Lakes Ballroom is perfect for larger events, as it can fit up to 520 guests for receptions. It can also be divided for smaller events.
