Radisson Individuals Opens in Wausau, Wisconsin’s Historic River District

Radisson Hotel Group Americas today announced the opening of Jefferson Street Inn, a member of Radisson Individuals. Located in the historic Wausau River District, the stunning hotel is situated in central Wisconsin on Interstate 39 between Eau Claire and Green Bay. Jefferson Street Inn’s quaint and timeless ambiance perfectly captures the essence of the region and delivers an exceptional experience for travelers of all kinds. 

The seven-floor property is home to 99 spacious and pet-friendly rooms and apartment-style suites. Guests can enjoy whirlpool tubs, room service, same-day dry cleaning service, and complimentary breakfast for two guests, which is served by a local bakery. Jefferson Street Inn is home to a variety of restaurants serving Asian Fusion, Mexican, and American fare with live entertainment. The hotel boasts an 8,000 square foot breathtaking ballroom and meeting spaces, accommodating as many as 600 guests for special events such as weddings and galas. Event hosts and guests can also count on complimentary parking. Other onsite amenities include an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, a business center, a fitness center, and an adjacent day spa.

With its proximity to state parks, ski areas, and the Wisconsin River, guests at Jefferson Street Inn are minutes away from numerous outdoor adventures. The hotel is close to Rib Mountain State Park and Nine Mile Recreation Area, allowing easy access to hiking and biking trails. In the winter months, the nearby Granite Peak Ski Area features ski hills across all experience levels. Jefferson Street Inn guests can travel to and from Granite Peak on a complimentary shuttle designed to hold ski equipment. Additionally, complimentary transportation to and from Wausau Downtown Airport (AUW) is available daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
